California Yellow Cab offers employment opportunities for those individuals who desire the independence of being their own boss.

Our drivers set their own schedules and are licensed to work anywhere in Orange County. We offer the successful driver the opportunity to purchase his own taxi by providing financing and a selection of late-model sedans.

To qualify the applicant must possess a valid California Drivers License (Class C) and have maintained a good driving record. All drivers are subject to a Department of Justice background check, as well as, random drug testing. An Orange County Taxi Administration Program (OCTAP) Permit is required and assistance in obtaining this permit is available.

While drivers income will vary depending on skill level and schedule, most drivers will earn approximately $30 - $36,000 annually.
